Description

Ingredients

– 4 cups chicken stock or broth (low sodium or no-sodium options can be used)

– 1 chicken bouillon cube (powder or cube, low sodium options available)

– 16 ounces (about 454 grams) egg noodles (regular or no yolk)

– 10.5 ounces (about 300 grams) cream of chicken soup (low sodium or homemade version possible)

– 1 stick (½ cup or 113 grams) salted butter (unsalted butter can be used to reduce sodium)

– Parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

1-In a large pot or deep skillet with a lid, bring the chicken stock and bouillon cube to a boil over medium-high heat.

2-Add the egg noodles to the boiling stock and stir; allow the mixture to return to a boil.

3-Stir in the cream of chicken soup and let it boil for 2 minutes.

4-Remove from heat, stir in the butter, cover with a lid, and let it sit until the butter melts. Stir again and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
