Description

🐟 Tuna Salad Recipes offer a fresh, flavorful meal option that is quick to prepare and rich in protein.
πŸ₯— Perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or salads, these recipes bring versatile and delicious ways to enjoy tuna for any meal.

Ingredients

– Four 5-ounce cans of tuna, drained (preferably packed in water; oil-packed tuna can be used with less mayonnaise)

– 1 cup mayonnaise or less, to taste

– 1/3 cup finely chopped celery (about one rib)

– 2 tablespoons minced onion (about two small slices)

– 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish (or substitute dill relish or minced dill pickles)

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– 1 clove garlic, minced

– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1-First, drain the tuna thoroughly to remove excess water, ensuring a firm texture that blends well without making the salad watery.

2-Next, finely chop the celery and onion to add that perfect crunch and flavor depth.

3-In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise (or less to taste), chopped celery, onion, relish, lemon juice, and minced garlic, then stir everything together gently.

4-Mix the ingredients thoroughly to combine, keeping the tuna chunky for the best bite.

5-Season with about 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or adjust based on your preference for a personalized touch.

6-Serve right away or cover and chill it in the fridge until you’re ready, which helps the flavors meld even more.

Notes

πŸ₯ͺ Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to four days.
🍏 Add diced green apple, thawed peas, or chopped hard-boiled eggs for extra texture and flavor.
🍞 Make a tuna melt by adding cheese and tomatoes, then grilling on buttery bread.
