Ingredients
– 2 cups uncooked macaroni (about 1/2 lb)

– 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
– 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1-Cook 2 cups uncooked macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
2-Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large pot over medium heat and stir in 2 tablespoons flour, cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.
3-Gradually add 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1 cup milk in splashes while stirring continuously to prevent the sauce from breaking.
4-Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and add 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce. Lower heat to low.
5-Slowly stir in 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese until smooth and fully combined.
6-Add the drained macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine. Serve immediately.
