Β½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
β
cup (about 110 g) honey (or ΒΌ cup; substitute maple syrup or brown sugar if desired)
ΒΌ cup (60 ml) low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari/coconut aminos for gluten-free)
3 cloves garlic, minced

Β½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry)
ΒΌ cup (about 25 g) grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Fresh chopped parsley or basil for garnish
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add sausage slices and brown well for 3β7 minutes.
2. Whisk honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
3. Pour chicken broth into the skillet with sausage and bring to a gentle boil. Add pasta directly if cooking in the skillet, or cook separately until al dente, reserving some pasta water.
4. Stir pasta occasionally until al dente. If cooked separately, add cooked pasta to the skillet after sauce thickens.
5. Add honey garlic mixture, then stir in cornstarch slurry and heavy cream. Cook 2β3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats pasta and sausage. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
6. Remove from heat, sprinkle parmesan and fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Let rest 2β3 minutes before serving.

π₯ Brown sausage thoroughly first for deeper flavor.
π§ Adjust liquids while cooking pasta to avoid dryness or mushiness.
