Description

🍤 Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry combines succulent shrimp with colorful peppers and onions for a quick, nutritious, and flavorful meal.
🌶️ Packed with vibrant veggies and aromatic garlic, this stir fry is perfect for a satisfying dinner that’s easy to prepare and versatile.

Ingredients

– 4 minced garlic cloves

– 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine

– 1 pound (about 450 grams) of uncooked medium shrimp that are peeled and deveined

– 1 cup of julienned sweet red pepper

– 1 cup of thinly sliced red or white onion

– 1 tablespoon of dried basil

– 1/2 teaspoon of salt

– 1/4 teaspoon of pepper

– 1/4 cup of chicken broth

– 3 tablespoons of minced green onion

– 2 cups of fresh snow peas (optional, for added texture and taste)

Instructions

1-First, prepare all your ingredients. Start by mincing the garlic and slicing the peppers and onions. Don’t forget to peel and devein the shrimp; it’s a quick step that makes a big difference. Once everything’s prepped, heat the butter in your pan over medium-high heat.

2-Next, sauté the garlic in the butter for about 2 minutes until it’s fragrant oh, that smell is pure magic! Then, add the shrimp, vegetables, basil, salt, and pepper to the pan. Stir-fry this mix for around 5 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and the veggies are crisp-tender.

3-After that, pour in the chicken broth and let it cook for 1 more minute until everything’s heated through. Finally, toss in the minced green onions for a fresh finish. Serve it hot over rice or noodles trust me, it’s a hit every time.

Notes

🔪 Try adding or substituting vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini to customize your stir fry.
🌶️ Adjust seasonings with Italian herbs, red pepper flakes, or cumin for extra flavor.
⏲️ Cook shrimp just until pink to keep them tender and juicy.
