Raspberry White Chocolate Martini Recipe

  • Author: Brandi Oshea
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 2 cocktails

Description

🍓🍸 Velvety raspberry white chocolate cocktail marries tart berry syrup with creamy boozy bliss – elegant dessert sipper.
🥂 15-min pink party pleaser; bonus syrup elevates waffles, ice cream too.

Ingredients

– 12 ounces Raspberries Create the fresh fruit base

– 1/4 cup Sugar Sweetens the syrup

– 2 tablespoons Raspberry liqueur Adds depth and berry flavor

– 3 ounces Half and half Gives the martini a creamy texture

– 2 ounces Vodka Builds the cocktail strength

– 2 ounces Raspberry syrup Brings the main raspberry flavor

– 1 ounce White chocolate liqueur Adds sweetness and a dessert-style finish

Instructions

1-First Step: Make the Raspberry Syrup

Add the 12 ounces of raspberries and 1/4 cup sugar to a medium saucepan. Place it over medium heat and simmer gently, stirring now and then, until the berries start to break down and the sugar dissolves. This usually takes just a few minutes, and you will notice the mixture becoming glossy and fragrant. If you are using frozen berries, thaw them first so they cook evenly and release their juices more easily.

Once the berries have softened, remove the pan from the heat. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove the seeds, pressing lightly to get as much syrup as possible. Then refrigerate the strained syrup until cool. This step matters because a warm syrup can thin out the cocktail and make the cream separate more easily.

2-Second Step: Stir in the Raspberry Liqueur

When the syrup has cooled, stir in the 2 tablespoons of raspberry liqueur. Adding it after the heat is off helps keep the flavor brighter. If you taste the syrup at this point, it should be sweet, fruity, and a little bold. That is exactly what you want for a Raspberry White Chocolate Martini Recipe.

3-Third Step: Chill the Glasses

Place your martini glasses in the freezer for at least 5 minutes. Chilled glasses help keep the drink cold from the first sip to the last, which is especially nice because this cocktail tastes best when it is icy. If you are making drinks for a group, chill the glasses ahead of time so you are not scrambling later.

4-Fourth Step: Rim the Glasses

Rub the edge of each glass with white chocolate liqueur, then dip the rim into cake decorating sugars in a variety of colors. I like this part because it gives the drink a playful look right away. It also adds a little sweet crunch with each sip. If you want a more muted look, use one color of sugar. If you are serving for a celebration, mix several colors together for a more festive rim.

5-Fifth Step: Shake the Cocktail

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the 3 ounces of half and half, 1 ounce of white chocolate liqueur, 2 ounces of vodka, and 2 ounces of raspberry syrup. Shake until very cold, usually about 15 seconds. The shaker should feel frosty in your hand when it is ready.

Shaking does more than mix the ingredients. It chills the drink quickly and helps the cream blend smoothly with the liqueurs. If you shake too long, the ice can melt too much and water down the flavor. If the mixture looks a little uneven, that is easy to fix, and I will talk more about that in the tips section.

6-Final Step: Pour and Serve

Strain the cocktail into the prepared chilled glasses and serve right away. The drink should look pale pink, creamy, and a little glossy. If you want a garnish on top, a few raspberries or a dusting of colored sugar works nicely, but the rim alone is already charming. Serve it immediately while it is cold and smooth.

Notes

🍓 Frozen raspberries shine off-season; thaw first for best syrup.
❄️ Chill glasses ahead for refreshing frosty texture.
🥛 Pulse in blender if separates for silky smooth drink.
