1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C). In a large bowl, beat 2 large eggs and 15-ounce can pumpkin puree together until well combined.

2-In another bowl, mix 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, and 1/4 teaspoon cloves, then add this spice blend to the pumpkin mixture.

3-Gradually stir in the evaporated milk to create a smooth filling. Pour everything into the 1 nine-inch deep dish unbaked pie crust. Bake at 425Β°F for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and continue baking for 40 to 50 minutes.

4-To check if it’s done, insert a sharp knife in the center it should come out clean, or the pie should have a slight jiggle without being too wobbly. Let it cool completely on a wire rack before serving. This method ensures a perfectly set pie that’s easy to customize for dietary needs.
