Description

🎃 Experience the perfect fall dessert with layers of creamy pumpkin cheesecake and light angel food cake
🍨 Impress your guests with this stunning no-bake trifle that’s as beautiful as it is delicious

Ingredients

Scale

22 ounces angel food cake

1 pint heavy whipping cream

½ cup powdered sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

16 ounces cream cheese (light recommended)

15 ounces pure pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

¾ cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, plus extra for dusting

Instructions

1-Whip the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract until stiff peaks form, then set it aside for later use.

2-Beat the cream cheese until it’s light and fluffy to ensure a smooth base for your layers.

3-Add the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice to the cream cheese, mixing everything well to blend the flavors perfectly.

4-Fold in one-third of the whipped cream to lighten the mixture, making it easier to layer without it being too dense.

5-Cut the angel food cake into small pieces and place one-third of it at the bottom of your trifle dish for the first layer.

6-Add one-third of the pumpkin cheesecake mixture on top, followed by one-third of the remaining whipped cream to build the next layer.

7-Repeat the layers two more times, finishing with whipped cream on top for a beautiful presentation.

8-Dust with additional pumpkin pie spice if you want an extra pop of flavor.

9-Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let everything set, which helps the flavors meld together for the best taste.

Notes

🎂 Make sure to use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling, for the best flavor and texture
⏰ This trifle can be made up to 24 hours in advance – the flavors actually get better with time
🧁 For individual servings, layer the ingredients in clear glasses or mason jars for a personal touch
