Instructions

1-First step: Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9Γ—13 inch baking pan.

2-Second step: In a bowl, mix 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, and 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice.

3-Third step: In another bowl, beat 3 large eggs, then add 1 cup vegetable oil, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup, 1 can pumpkin puree, and 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.

4-Fourth step: Combine the wet and dry mixtures gently to form the batter.

5-Fifth step: Pour the batter into the pan and smooth it out.

6-Sixth step: Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.

7-Seventh step: Cool completely, then frost with the cream cheese mixture if desired.
