Description

πŸ₯œ Enjoy the creamy, nutty richness of Peanut Chipotle Salsa with a bold smoky and spicy flavor twist.
🌢️ This versatile salsa doubles as a dip, sauce, or spread, perfect for adding a unique kick to your favorite dishes.

Ingredients

– 1 (15-ounce) can of diced tomatoes (drained)

– 2 cloves of fresh garlic or 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

– 1 large chipotle pepper in adobo sauce (more can be added for extra heat)

– 1 cup of chopped fresh cilantro (optional or adjustable to taste)

– 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter or homemade peanut butter made from 100% peanuts

– 1/2 cup of diced white onion (yellow or red onion can also be used)

– 2 tablespoons of lime juice (juice of one lime)

– 1/2 teaspoon of fine sea salt

– 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin

– A pinch of dried oregano

– Peanut butter

– Chipotle pepper

– Lime juice

Instructions

1-Gather ingredients and measure precisely: including the 1 (15-ounce) can of diced tomatoes and the 2 cloves of fresh garlic.

2-Add everything to a food processor or blender: the drained diced tomatoes, garlic, 1 large chipotle pepper, 1 cup of chopped cilantro, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup diced onion, 2 tablespoons lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, and a pinch of oregano.

3-Blend until smooth, pulsing as needed to get that creamy texture, and adjust with more lime juice or salt if you like.

4-For variations, toss in tahini or sesame seeds to mix things up, enhancing the nutty flavor.

5-Serve right away with tortilla chips or use it on tacos and burgers for a smoky twist.

Notes

🌢️ Add fresh jalapeño or serrano peppers for extra heat.
πŸ₯œ Enhance creaminess and flavor by adding tahini or toasted sesame seeds.
πŸ… Use fire-roasted diced tomatoes to deepen the salsa’s smoky taste.
