Description

🍔 One Pot Cheeseburger Macaroni combines classic cheeseburger flavors with tender pasta for a creamy, comforting meal the whole family will enjoy.
🧀 This easy one-pot recipe saves time and cleanup while delivering a satisfying homemade alternative to boxed dinners.

Ingredients

– 1 pound ground beef

– 2 cups elbow macaroni

– 3 cups beef broth

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 small onion, diced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)

– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– Additional seasonings: salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and optional paprika or onion powder

Instructions

Prepare ingredients: Dice the onion and garlic, shred the cheese, and measure the macaroni and liquids. Getting your ingredients ready beforehand simplifies the cooking process.

Brown the beef: In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if desired.

Sauté aromatics: Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef, cooking until onions become translucent and fragrant.

Add liquids and pasta: Stir in the elbow macaroni, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil.

Simmer: Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until pasta is tender and liquid mostly absorbed.

Add cheese: Remove the lid, lower the heat to very low, and mix in shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until the sauce is creamy and cheese has melted.

Season and serve: Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Garnish optionally with fresh herbs and serve hot.

Notes

🍳 Brown ground beef thoroughly and drain excess fat for a leaner dish.
🥄 Stir frequently while simmering to prevent pasta from sticking to the pot.
🧀 Use a mix of cheeses for deeper flavor and meltability.
