Description

🍪 Enjoy classic no bake cookies that are easy to make and perfect for quick sweet cravings.

Ingredients

– 1/2 cup (115 grams) butter, sliced (unsalted preferred, but salted works)

– 2 cups (400 grams) granulated sugar

– 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk (whole milk preferred, but any milk including non-dairy alternatives is fine)

– 1/4 cup (20 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1/2 cup (125 grams) creamy peanut butter (no-stir recommended, crunchy acceptable)

– 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

– 3 cups (300 grams) quick-cooking oats (old-fashioned oats can be used but may alter texture)


Instructions

1-In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Stir frequently until the butter melts and the mixture is fully combined.

2-Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and let it boil for exactly 60 seconds this step is crucial for the cookies to set properly.

3-Remove the saucepan from the heat and immediately stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until everything is smooth and well blended.

4-Add the quick-cooking oats and mix thoroughly until all the oats are fully coated with the mixture.

5-Drop spoonfuls of the mixture, about 1.5 tablespoons each, onto the prepared baking sheets lined with parchment paper, and slightly flatten each one.

6-Allow the cookies to cool at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes until they firm up; they start off soft but become just right as they set.
