Description

🥭 Refresh your palate with this naturally sweet and creamy mango sorbet that’s both dairy-free and easy to make.
❄️ Enjoy a guilt-free tropical frozen dessert that’s perfect for hot days and quick to prepare at home.

Ingredients

– 2 bags (10 ounces each) of frozen mango chunks (approximately 5 cups total) This forms the base and provides natural sweetness

– 1/3 cup of a liquid sweetener such as maple syrup, honey, agave nectar, or simple syrup Helps balance flavors and achieve a creamy texture

– 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice (from one medium lime) Adds a zesty tang to enhance the overall taste

– 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt Brings out the flavors and makes the sorbet more balanced

Instructions

1-First, let 2 bags (10 ounces each) of frozen mango chunks sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.

2-Next, add the mango to a food processor with 1/3 cup liquid sweetener, 2 tablespoons lime juice, and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt.

3-Blend for 4 to 5 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

4-After blending, serve immediately for a soft-serve style or transfer to an airtight container.

5-If freezing, cover with parchment or wax paper and chill for 2 to 3 hours until firm, wrapping the container to prevent ice crystals.

Notes

🍧 Use frozen mango chunks or peel and freeze fresh mango chunks in advance to ensure ideal texture.
⏲️ Slightly thaw mango before blending to help achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
🥄 Use liquid sweeteners like maple syrup or honey for a smoother texture and balanced sweetness.
