Ingredients

– 1 Honeycrisp apple, seeded and chopped into bite-sized pieces

– 1 large bunch of broccoli, chopped into florets (or 1 12-ounce prepared bag of broccoli florets)

– Β½ cup chopped red onion

– Β½ cup raisins

– Β½ cup sunflower seeds

– 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

– ΒΎ cup plain yogurt

– 2 tablespoons milk

– 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

– Β½ cup sugar (or ΒΌ cup honey)

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Honeycrisp apple

– Broccoli florets

– Plain yogurt


Instructions

1-Combine all dressing ingredients in a jar: ΒΎ cup plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, Β½ cup sugar or ΒΌ cup honey, and salt and pepper to taste. Whisk thoroughly and refrigerate until ready to use.

2-In a large bowl, mix all salad ingredients except the bacon: the chopped Honeycrisp apple, broccoli florets, Β½ cup chopped red onion, Β½ cup raisins, and Β½ cup sunflower seeds. Toss them together gently.

3-Slowly pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly. Let the salad sit for 30 to 60 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

4-Sprinkle the 4 slices of crumbled bacon over the salad just before serving for added crunch.
