Ingredients

200g ground beef

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

400g canned tomatoes

100g tomato paste

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

100g grated Parmesan cheese for topping

200g spaghetti


Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2-In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

3-Add butter and sugar, then mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4-Gradually add milk, stirring until a soft dough forms.

5-Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently 5 times.

6-Roll dough out to 1/2-inch thickness.

7-Cut dough into circles using a biscuit cutter.

8-Place biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

9-Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

10-Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.

Notes

🦐 Use peeled, deveined shrimp and soak wooden skewers to prevent burning.
🥑 Prepare the salsa gently to avoid mashing the avocado and make it up to 8 hours ahead, covering to prevent browning.
