Description

🍫 This Rich and Gooey Brownie Pie offers a fudgy, decadent chocolate dessert with a crackly top and gooey center.
🍰 Perfect for chocolate lovers and special occasions, it’s easy to make and sure to impress with its indulgent texture.

Ingredients

Scale

6 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided into 2 cups and 1 cup)
3 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Hot fudge sauce for serving (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan or pie plate with non-stick spray.
2. Melt the butter and 2 cups of chocolate chips together gently in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth. Let cool about 5 minutes.
3. In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract on medium-high speed for about 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
4. Slowly fold the cooled chocolate and butter mixture into the egg mixture.
5. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gently fold into the chocolate batter until just combined.
6. Stir in the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips.
7. Pour batter into the prepared pan, filling about three quarters full if using a standard pie plate.
8. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until center is set but still gooey, and top has a crackly crust. Tent with foil if top browns too quickly.
9. Remove from oven and cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
10. Serve with hot fudge sauce, vanilla ice cream, or fresh berries if desired.

Notes

🍴 Allow the melted chocolate-butter mixture to cool to avoid scrambling the eggs.
πŸŽ‚ Beat eggs and sugar until volume doubles for a lighter, fudgier texture.
🍫 Fold dry ingredients gently to maintain airiness and avoid cakey texture.
