Instructions

1-First Steps: Get Ready Preheat your oven to 220Β°C/425Β°F for a standard setup or 200Β°C/400Β°F if using a fan. Cut 1 kg or 2 lb of peeled carrots diagonally into 4 cm or 1.75 inch pieces, and halve the thicker ends for even cooking. In a bowl, mix the carrots with 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 tbsp melted butter (or olive oil), 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
