4 chicken thighs with bone and skin

4 to 5 garlic cloves peeled and slightly pressed

1/2 teaspoon dried or fresh sage chopped

3/4 teaspoon dried or fresh rosemary chopped

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

1-First, preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) to get that golden crisp on the skin. Season the 4 chicken thighs with salt and black pepper on both sides for a solid base of flavor. Place the chicken thighs skin side up in a baking pan, setting the stage for even cooking.

2-Next, sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder and the chopped herbs 1/2 teaspoon sage and 3/4 teaspoon rosemary over the chicken for that aromatic touch. Arrange the 4 to 5 peeled and slightly pressed garlic cloves around the thighs to infuse extra savoriness as they roast.

3-Roast the chicken uncovered on the center rack for 45 minutes, allowing the skin to turn golden and crispy. Then, lower the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until the internal temperature hits 165°F (74°C). For the best outcome, let the chicken rest by turning off the oven and loosely covering it with foil until you’re ready to serve.
