Description

🥩 Savor the rich flavor of tender garlic butter steak combined with perfectly cooked noodles in just 20 minutes.
🧄 This quick recipe is ideal for a satisfying meal that’s both easy and full of bold, savory taste.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain (sirloin can be used as an alternative)
812 oz noodles (egg noodles, ramen noodles, or linguine), cooked al dente and drained
23 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
34 garlic cloves, minced
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional for deeper umami)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon honey
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup sliced green onions or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
½ cup heavy cream (optional variation for a richer, creamier sauce)
¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional, if using cream)

Instructions

1. Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the steak slices in a single layer (cook in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding), sear for 2-4 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Remove steak and set aside.
3. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, sauté minced garlic for 30-60 seconds until fragrant but not browned. Add red pepper flakes if using and cook for 15 seconds more.
4. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), Worcestershire sauce, and honey. Scrape up any browned bits from the pan. Season with salt and black pepper. Let simmer about 1 minute to slightly thicken.
5. (Optional) If using heavy cream, add it now and simmer gently while stirring until sauce thickens slightly. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth.
6. Add cooked noodles, tossing gently to coat evenly with the sauce. Return steak and juices to the pan, tossing everything together. Cook 1-2 minutes until heated through.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions or parsley and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

🥩 Slice steak when slightly frozen for thinner, more tender pieces.
🧄 Avoid overcooking the steak as it will continue to cook in the sauce.
🍜 Cook noodles al dente since they will absorb sauce flavor in the pan.
