πŸ₯š Classic and creamy deviled eggs are a perfect party appetizer or snack that can be customized with various creative flavor twists.
🌿 This recipe offers flexibility for both traditional and inventive ingredients, making deviled eggs a versatile crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale

12 large eggs

1/3 cup mayonnaise or a mix of half mayonnaise and half plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons pickle relish or diced dill pickle

1 1/2 teaspoons mustard or yellow mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

Paprika or chives for garnish

Instructions

1-Hard boil the eggs using one of the following methods: Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and heat until boiling. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to ease peeling, cover, and remove from heat. Let rest for 12 minutes, then transfer to an ice water bath to cool. Or, for Instant Pot: Add 1 cup water to the pot, place a wire rack inside, and arrange eggs on top. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes followed by a 5-minute natural release. Cool eggs in an ice water bath for 5 minutes. Alternatively, for oven: Preheat oven to 325Β°F (163Β°C). Place eggs in a muffin tin and bake for 30 minutes. Cool in an ice water bath for 10 minutes.

2-Peel eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully remove yolks into a bowl.

3-Mash yolks with mayonnaise, pickle relish, and mustard until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust ingredients as needed for flavor.

4-Fill egg white halves generously with the yolk mixture using a spoon or pastry bag.

5-Garnish with paprika or chives before serving.

Notes

πŸ₯‘ Add mashed avocado to the filling for a creamy variation.
πŸ₯“ Incorporate cooked, diced bacon for extra flavor.
