Description

🦞 Create an impressive restaurant-quality seafood lasagna that combines tender lobster, crab, and shrimp in a rich garlic cream sauce
πŸ§€ Experience layers of perfectly cooked pasta, premium seafood, and melted Italian cheeses that will wow your dinner guests

Ingredients

Scale

9 lasagna noodles cooked al dente

1 bunch diced green onions

1 pound (about 450 grams) cooked lobster meat

1 pound (about 450 grams) cooked crab meat

1 pound (about 450 grams) diced raw shrimp

4 teaspoons seafood seasoning

5 tablespoons (about 70 grams) salted butter

3 tablespoons (about 25 grams) all-purpose flour

3 cups (720 ml) heavy cream

5 minced garlic cloves

2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

2 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon coarse black pepper

4 cups (approximately 400 grams) shredded cheese blend, which includes Parmesan, mozzarella, provolone, Fontina, Romano, and Asiago cheeses

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and get your 9Γ—13-inch baking dish lightly oiled. Cook the 9 lasagna noodles until they’re al dente, which takes about 8-10 minutes. In a pan, mix the cooked lobster meat, crab meat, diced raw shrimp, and 4 teaspoons of seafood seasoning for that flavorful base.

2-Next, make the creamy garlic sauce by melting 5 tablespoons of salted butter in a saucepan. Whisk in 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour until smooth, then slowly add 3 cups of heavy cream while stirring. Toss in 5 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning, 2 1/2 teaspoons of kosher salt, and 1 teaspoon of coarse black pepper, and cook for two more minutes until it thickens.

3-Now it’s time to layer: Begin with a bit of sauce on the bottom of the dish, add 3 noodles, then half the seafood mix. Spread more sauce over that, sprinkle some of the 4 cups cheese blend, and repeat the layers. Finish with the last 3 noodles, sauce, the rest of the cheese, and a sprinkle of parsley flakes if you like.

4-Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350Β°F for 1 hour and 25 minutes. For the last 5 to 10 minutes, remove the foil to let the cheese brown nicely. Once it’s done, let it sit for 15 minutes so the flavors settle before you serve. The whole process, including prep and cooling, takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes, making it perfect for weeknights.

Notes

🍝 Cook lasagna noodles al dente so they don’t become mushy during baking
🦐 Pat seafood dry before mixing to prevent excess moisture in the lasagna
πŸ§€ Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting and flavor compared to pre-shredded varieties
