– 2 cloves fresh garlic minced (or 1-2 teaspoons garlic powder)

– 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

– 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (fresh preferred, dried can be used)

– 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

– Salt and pepper to taste, plus salt for pasta water

– 4 green onions thinly sliced (optional garnish)


Instructions

1-First Step: Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt.

2-Second Step: Cook dry pasta according to package directions (usually 10-12 minutes).

3-Third Step: Drain pasta and rinse with cold water; let it cool completely.

4-Fourth Step: While pasta cooks, tear or cut imitation crab meat into bite-sized pieces.

5-Fifth Step: In a large bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, buttermilk, lemon juice, onion powder, garlic, seasoned salt, parsley, sugar, salt, and pepper.
