πŸŽ‰ Cranberry Whipped Feta Dip combines tangy, creamy feta with sweet and zesty cranberry compote for a festive crowd-pleaser.
πŸ₯„ This easy-to-make dip elevates holiday gatherings with vibrant flavors and a creamy texture that’s perfect for pairing with crackers or crostini.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups frozen or fresh cranberries

1/4 cup maple syrup

Zest and juice of one orange

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

225 grams (8 ounces) feta cheese, crumbled (about 1 1/2 cups)

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/4 teaspoon chili flakes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup chopped pistachios

1 to 2 tablespoons honey for drizzling

Fresh thyme leaves (optional)

Instructions

1-First Step: Gather and prepare all ingredients crumble feta cheese and rinse fresh cranberries if used.

2-Second Step: In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, maple syrup, orange zest, orange juice, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

3-Third Step: Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 6 to 10 minutes until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens like jam. Remove from heat and let it cool.

4-Fourth Step: In a food processor, blend the feta cheese, Greek yogurt, chili flakes, and olive oil until smooth and creamy.

5-Fifth Step: For vegan adaptation, replace feta with plant-based cheese and honey with maple syrup before blending.

6-Sixth Step: In a shallow bowl, layer the whipped feta, top with the cooled cranberry compote, chopped pistachios, honey drizzle, and fresh thyme if desired.

7-Final Step: Serve with crostini, crackers, or pita bread. The total time is about 20 minutes, with 10 minutes prep and 10 minutes cooking.

Notes

πŸŽ›οΈ Use a hand mixer or immersion blender if a food processor is unavailable.
❄️ Prepare cranberry compote up to two days ahead and store in refrigerator; bring to room temperature before assembling.
🌢️ Substitute chili flakes with ground black pepper if preferred for less heat.
