Ingredients

Scale

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz / about 8 triangles)
1 cup cooked crab meat, finely chopped (fresh, canned, or imitation)
4 to 8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 to 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 to 3 green onions, finely chopped
1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or blend)
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon dried or fresh dill (optional)
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning or seafood seasoning (or to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional garnish: chopped parsley, paprika, lemon wedges, or melted butter for brushing

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, crab meat, green onions, shredded cheese, Old Bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well blended. Chill for 15 minutes if possible.
3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.
4. Place about 1 tablespoon of crab filling at the wide end of each triangle.
5. Roll dough from the wide end toward the point, sealing edges gently.
6. Optionally brush tops with melted butter for enhanced color and flavor.
7. Arrange crescent bites spaced apart on the baking sheet.
8. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
9. Remove from oven, cool slightly, and garnish with parsley, paprika, and lemon wedges if desired.
10. Serve warm.

Notes

⚠️ Work with cold crescent dough for easier handling and rolling.
🦐 Substitute cooked shrimp or tuna for crab if desired.
❄️ Freeze unbaked filled crescents on a tray before storing for up to 2 months and bake directly from frozen with added baking time.
