Ingredients

– 1 cup (227 grams) Unsalted butter [Creates a creamy base]

– 3.5 cups (440 grams) Confectioners sugar [Sweetens and thickens]

– 0.5 cup (50 grams) Cocoa powder [Delivers rich chocolate flavor]

– 3 tablespoons (45 milliliters) Heavy cream or milk [Improves smoothness]

– 1/8 teaspoon Salt [Balances the sweetness]

– 2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) Vanilla extract [Adds aromatic depth]


Instructions

1-Gather all ingredients: and ensure the butter is at room temperature.

2-Beat the softened butter on medium speed for about 2 minutes until creamy.

3-Add the confectioners sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream, salt, and vanilla, then beat on low for 30 seconds.

4-Increase to high speed and beat for 1 more minute until smooth.

5-If the mixture is too thin, add more confectioners sugar or cocoa powder; if too thick, add more cream.

6-Taste and add a bit more salt if you want to enhance the flavor.

7-Use right away or store covered in the fridge for up to one week, or freeze for up to three months and rebeat after thawing.

Notes

🔥 Microwave 1 cup of buttercream for 10 seconds and mix back in for a darker chocolate color.
