Ingredients

Instructions
1-Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Start with 3 large chicken breasts, cutting them lengthwise into 6 thinner cutlets. Season them with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in 2 tablespoons of flour. Heat olive oil and a bit of butter in a pan over medium heat, and pan-fry the cutlets until they’re browned but not fully cooked, which takes about 3-4 minutes per side.
2-Step 2: Cook the Mushrooms In the same pan, add the 8 ounces of sliced cremini mushrooms and 2 tablespoons of butter. Cook them until their moisture evaporates and they turn golden, about 5-7 minutes. Once done, place the mushrooms around the chicken in a casserole dish to layer those earthy flavors.
3-Step 3: Make the Sauce Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the pan, then mix in the 2 cloves of minced garlic and the flour you used for dredging.
