1/2 teaspoon onion powder to boost natural sweetness

1/2 teaspoon black pepper for heat and depth

1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional) for earthy note


Instructions

1-First, slice the 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts into thin strips for even cooking.

2-Next, marinate the chicken with the seasoning mix, including 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and optional 1/2 teaspoon cumin, plus the juice from 1 lime for at least 15 minutes.

3-Then, chop 1 medium onion and the 3 bell peppers into thin strips to match the chicken size.

4-Heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken strips, cooking for 5-7 minutes until browned and fully cooked.

5-Remove the chicken and set it aside; add another tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet, then sauté the peppers and onion for 4-5 minutes until they’re tender but still crisp.

6-Return the chicken to the skillet with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, tossing everything together for 2 minutes to blend the flavors.

7-Finally, warm your tortillas and serve the mixture inside, adding any toppings you like.

Notes

🌶️ To make it spicier, add extra chili powder or a pinch of cayenne.
