Bell peppers (sliced)
Onion (sliced)
Provolone cheese (sliced or shredded)
Heavy cream or half-and-half
Steak seasoning (or a mix of garlic salt, onion powder, and black pepper)
Olive oil or butter (for sautéing)
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
2. Slice the steak into thin strips and season with steak seasoning or a mix of garlic salt, onion powder, and black pepper.
3. Add the steak to the pan and cook until browned, then remove and set aside.
4. In the same pan, sauté sliced bell peppers and onions until soft.
5. Return the steak to the pan and mix with the vegetables.
6. Pour in heavy cream or half-and-half, stirring to combine.
7. Add the cheese tortellini to the pan and let it simmer until tender.
8. Stir occasionally to ensure the pasta cooks evenly and absorbs the flavors.
9. Once the tortellini is cooked, layer provolone cheese on top and cover the pan to melt the cheese.
10. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
11. Serve hot and enjoy your Cheesesteak Tortellini!
12. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
Notes
Use freshly sliced sirloin for the best texture and flavor in your dish.
Sauté the onions and bell peppers until they are slightly caramelized to add depth to the overall taste.
For a creamy and smooth sauce, stir in the cheese at the end and let it melt gradually.
