Instructions

1-First, cook about 8 oz of spaghetti in boiling salted water until it’s al dente, which takes roughly 8-10 minutes.

2-While that’s happening, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. This sets the stage for the flavors to build.

3-Next, add 1 medium thinly sliced yellow onion to the skillet and cook it slowly for 12-15 minutes with 1/2 teaspoon salt until it turns golden and sweet.
