4 salmon fillets

1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons of olive oil

ΒΌ cup of melted salted butter

ΒΌ cup of honey

ΒΌ teaspoon of Cajun seasoning

5 cloves of minced garlic

Parsley for garnish

Lemon slices for garnish


Instructions

1-Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness. Season both sides evenly with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning.

2-Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering but not smoking, place salmon in the pan skin side up.

3-Cook for about 3 minutes until a nice crust forms, then carefully flip each fillet and cook for another 3 minutes until the salmon becomes opaque.

4-While the salmon is cooking, prepare the honey garlic butter sauce by combining ΒΌ cup of melted salted butter, ΒΌ cup of honey, ΒΌ teaspoon of Cajun seasoning, and 5 cloves of minced garlic.

5-Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour half of the sauce over the salmon. Let it cook for the final minute to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.

6-Remove the pan from heat and pour the remaining sauce over the salmon fillets.

7-Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.
