Ingredients

– 1 box brownie mix as specified on the package

– Vegetable oil amount as specified on the mix instructions

– Eggs amount as specified on the mix instructions

– 2 large eggs

– Flaxseed meal mixture for vegan

– 1/2 cup melted butter

– Plant-based margarine or applesauce

– 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

– Gluten-free flour blend


Instructions

1-Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners to get started.

2-In a bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients like cocoa powder, flour, sugar, and baking powder for the from-scratch version.

3-In a separate bowl, combine melted butter and eggs until smooth, or use the boxed mix batter as prepared.

4-Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently to avoid over-mixing, then fill the liners two-thirds full.

5-Bake for 18-22 minutes for from-scratch or 22-26 minutes for boxed mix, checking with a toothpick for doneness.

6-After baking, let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing them to cool completely on a wire rack. Frosting is optional, so decorate as desired or enjoy them plain.
