Description
🍔 Big Mac Cheeseburger Bombs deliver a delicious, melty cheese surprise wrapped in soft yeasted dough for a satisfying snack or meal.
🧀 This easy-to-make recipe combines seasoned beef with classic secret sauce ingredients for a flavorful bite every time.
Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/3 cup finely minced or grated white onion
– 1/3 cup chopped dill pickles (finely chopped)
– 1/2 pound block of American cheese
– 1 package (24 pieces) frozen yeasted dinner rolls dough
– 1 large egg, beaten for egg wash
– Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1-Thaw dinner roll dough according to package instructions.
2-Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3-In a large bowl, combine ground beef with onion powder, garlic salt, salt, pepper, minced onion, and chopped dill pickles.
4-Divide the meat mixture into 24 equal portions.
5-Cut the cheese into 24 small chunks, roughly half an inch square.
6-Flatten each meat portion into a circle, place a cheese chunk in the center, then enclose the cheese by rolling the meat into balls.
7-Pan-fry the stuffed meatballs briefly on all sides to seal in cheese and reduce moisture without fully cooking the meat.
8-On a lightly floured surface, roll each thawed dough ball into a circle larger than the meatball.
9-Place a meatball in the center and wrap the dough around it, pinching the bottom seam to seal completely.
10-Place the dough-wrapped meatballs seam-side down on the baking sheet.
11-Brush each with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
12-Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
13-Serve immediately with a preferred dipping sauce.
Notes
🔥 Pan-frying the meatballs before wrapping prevents soggy dough and helps keep cheese melted inside.
🔒 Ensure dough is fully sealed to prevent it from falling apart during baking.
🧅 Finely mincing onions and pickles ensures even cooking and better meatball formation.
