Description

🍫 Create an impressive no-bake dessert with rich chocolate layers and creamy Irish cream flavor that will wow your guests
🍰 Enjoy the perfect combination of crunchy cookies, smooth cheesecake, and fluffy whipped cream in every spoonful

Ingredients

– 16 ounces (about 450 grams) softened cream cheese

– 1 cup (120 grams) powdered sugar

– ¼ cup (20 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– ½ teaspoon sea salt

– ¼ cup (60 ml) Irish cream liqueur or alternative flavoring

– 1 cup (240 ml) well-chilled heavy whipping cream

– 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Irish cream liqueur or substitute

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for the whipped cream

– 2 tablespoons (10 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder for the whipped cream

– 2 tablespoons (15 grams) powdered sugar for the whipped cream

– 20 chocolate sandwich cookies for layering

Instructions

1-Whip the cream cheese with 1 cup powdered sugar until it’s smooth and creamy; slowly add ¼ cup Irish cream liqueur, ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and ½ teaspoon sea salt to create the cheesecake mixture.

2-For the whipped cream, beat 1 cup heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form, then mix in 2 tablespoons Irish cream liqueur, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, and 2 tablespoons powdered sugar for a chocolatey topping.

3-In four serving cups, start layering with crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, followed by the cheesecake mixture, and then the whipped cream; repeat the layers for a full effect, ending with a swirl of whipped cream and extra cookie crumbs if you like.

4-Once assembled, chill the trifles in the fridge for at least 20 minutes or serve immediately for a fresh treat.

Notes

🍪 Use a food processor to crush cookies for uniform crumbs, or place them in a ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin
🥣 Make sure your heavy cream is well-chilled and beat in a cold bowl for the best whipped cream results
🍷 For a non-alcoholic version, substitute Irish cream with coffee extract or additional vanilla extract mixed with a splash of milk
