Instructions

1-Gathering and Preparing Ingredients: First, gather all your ingredients to make the process smooth. Begin by washing and chopping 3 medium Gala apples into thin pieces, keeping them ready for the mix. If you have dietary needs, choose organic options or adjust as you go along.

Next, toast and chop 1 cup of pecans for that extra crunch, and cook and chop 12 oz. of bacon until it’s crispy. Slice 1/2 small red onion into thin strips to add a mild bite without overpowering the salad.

2-Making the Dressing: In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey, 1 tablespoon Dijon or yellow mustard, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Shake them in a covered container until they’re well blended, creating a dressing that ties everything together.

Chill the dressing for better texture and flavor, as the cold helps it coat the salad nicely. This step makes a big difference in how the flavors pop.
