Instructions

1-Preheat and prepare pan: Start by preheating your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and greasing a 9Γ—13-inch pan for even baking.

2-Mix the crumb topping: Combine 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a bowl. Stir in 1 cup melted unsalted butter, then add 2 and 1/2 cups flour until crumbles form. Chill this mixture to keep it crunchy it’s a game-changer!

3-Whisk dry cake ingredients: 2 and 1/2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in another bowl.

4-Beat wet ingredients and combine: Beat 3/4 cup softened unsalted butter with 1 and 1/4 cups granulated sugar until creamy. Add 3 large eggs, 1 cup sour cream, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, mixing until combined don’t worry if it looks a bit curdled.
